  • What services do you provide?
    We are a team of Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) who are experts in the treatment of depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, grief, family conflict, caregiver issues, adjustment to illness/disability, and transitional life changes with the geriatric population. We are a mobile group meeting our patients wherever they reside. Our Licensed Clinical Social Workers provide; Individual Psychotherapy Group Psychotherapy and Classes Family Care Counseling Transition Counseling Family-Based Therapy for Dementia Caregiving To learn more visit our Services page.
  • Do I need to be 65 or older to get services?
    Yes! Our services are focused on the geriatric population.
  • Are services available anywhere I live?
    Our team of Clinicians are located in and around Gwinnett County and are prepared and willing to come to you wherever you are. If you have questions or concerns regarding our coverage area please contact us by phone, email, or by sending us a request through our secured and confidential contact page HERE.
  • Do you charge for coming to me?
    No!!! We will come wherever you are for NO additional cost.
  • How soon can I see someone?
    We guarantee you will be contacted within 24 hours of us receiving the referral!
  • Who can refer a client? How do I refer a client/resident for your services?
    Anyone can refer a client to our services. For us to be able to begin services the client, family, or Legal Power of Attorney must be agreeable to us meeting with the client in their place of residence for services. and either themselves or their assigned Legal Power of Attorney willing and able to consent for services.
  • How do I get started?

  • Do I need to be homebound to receive services?
    No, anyone can receive in-home counseling services, if interested.
  • Do I need a referral or order from a doctor?
    No, all you need to do is call or email us, and we will help you get an appointment.
  • What if I am already receiving services from a Home Health Agency?
    There is no conflict. We can provide counseling services to you at the same time as you receive Home Health services, (including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Medical Social Work and RN services).
  • Is there a limit on the number of sessions I can receive?
    Medicare or private insurance does not put a limit on how long you may receive services. However, managed care insurance plans typically require pre-authorizations for blocks of sessions, and may not authorize services indefinitely.
  • Are you the same as a Home Health Agency, or Palliative Care? I already see a Social Worker through them. "
    No, we are a counseling service, and we can see you on a regular, on-going basis, indefinitely, whereas a Home Health Social Worker usually sees you for 1-2 sessions only, and a Palliative Care Social Worker may see you only once a month.
  • What if I don't want to meet in my home?
    We don’t have a physical office, but if you’d prefer, we can meet in a study room in a local library, or in a café, or anywhere you would like.
  • Who pays for these services?
    All services are paid for primarily by Medicare, Medicaid, and other major insurances. Any additional charge will be discussed prior to first session.
